Neurotoxins - Botox®, Jeuveau® and Xeomin®

What is BOTOX® and “Neurotoxins”?

Cosmetic Neurotoxin use is a non-surgical, anti-aging treatment where product is injected directly into the muscles, usually between the brows to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. Botox® and other neurotoxins are also used clinically to treat crow’s feet around the eye area. When expertly administered, neurotoxins offer an effective solution for wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging, while also being minimally invasive. Neurotoxins are an affordable alternative to cosmetic surgery such as a brow lift or facelift and other surgical procedures that require surgical intervention, anesthesia and lengthy recovery.

What are the benefits of Botox®, Jeuveau® and other neurotoxins?

One of the main worries that patients have regarding injectable treatments is that they will leave them looking completely different once the procedure is complete. Our trained professionals understand how to perform your injection the proper way, making sure you successfully eliminate fine lines while keeping the same natural look of your skin.

What are the different types of wrinkles?

There are two different types of wrinkles:

Static wrinkles develop because our skin’s natural substances (such as collagen and hyaluronic acid), which provide structure and volume, decrease as we age.

Dynamic wrinkles are caused when muscles contract to make facial expressions such as smiles and frowns.

Am I a candidate for treatment with Dermal Fillers?

Do not use this or any other cosmetic product if you have severe allergies or a history of severe allergic reactions. You should also not use this product if you have allergies to lidocaine or the proteins used to make hyaluronic acid. Your doctor will determine if treatment with dermal fillers is right for you.

Our Dermal Filler treatment is available in multiple different formulas which will be determined and customized following your consult with our nurse injector. The formulation we use depends on what you hope to get out of the procedure.
